1. Agreement and eligibility

These Terms govern use of The Savvy Friend website, Journal, Free Financial Life Audit, Results and related email features. By using the service, you agree to these Terms. The service is for adults 18 and older. Do not use it if you are under 18. Questions and notices: info@thesavvyfriend.com; privacy matters: privacy@thesavvyfriend.com.

2. Service description

The Savvy Friend provides editorial content and a free reflective Audit about connections between money, career, time, lifestyle, family and wellbeing. The Audit produces educational Results from the information submitted. It may be changed, withdrawn, corrected, or unavailable temporarily.

3. No financial advice or professional relationship

The Audit, Results, Journal, emails, and all related content are general educational information and self-reflection tools. They are not financial, investment, tax, legal, accounting, medical, mental-health, or other professional advice; a recommendation; a solicitation; a fiduciary service; or a financial plan. No professional-client relationship is created. Do not make financial decisions without consulting a qualified professional who understands your circumstances. We make no promise that Results are complete, accurate, suitable, or beneficial, and we do not guarantee any result.

4. Anonymous use and Results

The MVP does not require an account. A browser session may be used to save progress. A Results email may contain a secure link; protect it and do not share it. Links expire and may be single-use. Recovery uses generic responses. Results are based on your submitted answers and may not be recalculated after completion. You are responsible for the accuracy and confidentiality of information you submit.

5. Acceptable use

You may use the service lawfully and only for personal, non-commercial evaluation unless we authorize otherwise. Do not interfere with the service, bypass security or rate limits, probe or scrape protected endpoints, submit malware, impersonate another person, use another person’s email or Results, or submit bank credentials, payment-card details, government identifiers, or information you are not authorized to provide. Do not use the service to provide professional advice to others.

6. User content and Journal

You retain rights in text you submit. You grant us only the limited rights needed to host, secure, process, display your Results to you, send requested email, and perform the disclosed operations. Q10 free text is not used for public content, analytics, advertising, or model training. The Journal and site content belong to Astro or its licensors and may not be copied, republished, or commercially exploited except as allowed by law. Do not submit confidential third-party information.

7. Third parties and availability

Hosting, database, email, analytics, source-control and security providers support the service. Their own terms and privacy notices may apply to their processing. We do not control third-party outages, links, deliverability, or security. The service is provided on an “as available” basis; we do not promise uninterrupted access, delivery, compatibility, or permanent availability of content.

8. Security limitations

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures, but no website, email, cookie, database, or transmission is risk-free. You are responsible for securing your device, email account, and access links. Report suspected misuse or security incidents to info@thesavvyfriend.com or privacy@thesavvyfriend.com.

9. Marketing and email

Results email is transactional only. Optional marketing is governed by a separate consent choice and may be withdrawn or unsubscribed from at any time. Unsubscribing does not delete Audit data. Newsletter, welcome sequence, Early Access, payments, affiliate offers and SMS are not part of this initial service.

10. Changes, suspension and termination

We may update the service or these Terms. Material changes will be communicated through a reasonable method and will state the effective date. We may suspend or terminate access for abuse, security, legal compliance, provider failure, or discontinuation. On termination, provisions that by nature should survive (including disclaimers, limits, intellectual property, and dispute terms) survive. Data handling after termination is governed by the Privacy Policy and retention policy.

11. Disclaimers and liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the service and content are provided without implied warranties, including accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, merchantability, non-infringement, or uninterrupted availability. We are not responsible for decisions made from the content, third-party services, email interception, device compromise, or indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive losses. Nothing limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, fraud, willful misconduct, or mandatory consumer rights. Any additional limitation, exclusion, or cap must be approved by human counsel before publication; none is asserted here beyond this paragraph.

12. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Mexico, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where mandatory consumer law requires otherwise. Before filing a claim, contact info@thesavvyfriend.com and allow a reasonable opportunity to resolve it. No arbitration, class-action waiver, venue clause, or fee-shifting clause is included in this draft because those provisions require specific human legal review and user-facing procedural approval.

13. Entire agreement and contact

These Terms and the Privacy Policy describe the MVP relationship. If a provision is unenforceable, the remainder remains effective. Failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. Contact Astro at info@thesavvyfriend.com; privacy requests go to privacy@thesavvyfriend.com.

Remaining operational review

Confirm effective date, notice method, governing-law/venue language, liability language, age treatment, and any required consumer disclosures. These operational items remain tracked under TECH-CLAR-030.
